Kettles and Candles is a family owned and operated business headquartered in the mountains of central Pennsylvania. John and Tanya started their business in 1996 with custom cabinet manufacturing. Their love of natural products and environmental stewardship gave rise to their expansion into their candle business. Kettles and Candles products are all soy wax with environmentally safe cotton wicks. Candles are individually poured, one at a time to insure good color and even scent distribution. Our product started in cast iron containers and progressed to glass containers developed for Kettles and Candles in 2009. We do refills, saving containers from being land filled – and making our candles renewable.

Along with developing and bettering the line as years passed, we grew from a 240 square foot garage, moved into a 900 square foot building, then into a 6400 square foot facility. In 2001 the candle line got large enough to dedicate a full time staff for production. We developed an incentive program for fund-raisers in 2002 and been very successfully partnering with community organizations ever since. We strive to improve the product all the time, testing new supplies all year round.
